Terms of service

Effective August 10, 2026 · Dental Gigs, Inc. · Denver, Colorado

These are the rules of the marketplace. They are written to be read, not skimmed past, because most of them are promises we make to you. Using Dental Gigs means agreeing to them. Questions to hello@dentalgigs.app.

1. What Dental Gigs is

Dental Gigs connects dental offices that need a shift covered with dental professionals who want to work it. We verify credentials, run the matching, move the messages, and handle the money. We are not a party to the work itself: offices direct the clinical day, professionals perform it.

2. Accounts

You must be 18 or older, use your real identity, and keep your details accurate. One person per account. Office accounts must be opened by someone with authority to book and pay for staff. We can suspend accounts that break these terms; you can close yours whenever you like.

3. Professionals are independent contractors

Professionals on Dental Gigs work for themselves. You set your own rate, your own radius, and your own calendar, and you may accept or decline any offer for any reason. You are not employed by Dental Gigs or, for temp shifts, by the office. Earnings are reported on a 1099 through our payment provider, and no taxes are withheld; those are yours to handle. Licensed roles must hold a current Colorado license, and editing license details sends the account back through verification.

4. Fees, all of them

5. Booking, timesheets, and getting paid

The first professional to accept an offer is booked, and both sides are notified. On shift day the professional clocks in and out in the app; the office then approves the timesheet, and silence for 24 hours counts as approval. Either side can dispute a timesheet before approval, and disputed timesheets pause payment until resolved. Approved timesheets trigger the office invoice and the professional payout through Stripe.

6. Cancellations

7. Texts

Dental Gigs runs on SMS: sign-in codes, offers, confirmations, reminders. By creating an account you consent to these transactional texts. Frequency varies with your activity, message and data rates may apply, reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Opting out of texts stops sign-in codes too, which effectively pauses the account.

8. Conduct

9. What we do not promise

We promise the platform works as described here; we cannot promise a shift always fills or a professional is always perfect. Dental Gigs is provided as is, and our total liability to you for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits what the law says cannot be limited.

10. Governing law

Colorado law governs these terms, and disputes belong to the state or federal courts sitting in Denver.

11. Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, account holders are notified before the change takes effect. The effective date above tells you which version you are reading.
